church and shiz...

I went to church tonight. Yeah, yeah, I know. As much as I hate it, I still go to see my friends and get free shit. Yes, I'm a selfish bitch. Anyway, the lesson was, in my opinion, all over the place. I mean, it had a pattern, but the end of the lesson didn't really seem to have much to do with the beginning. Maybe that's just me, though...
Well, the beginning of the lesson had us imagining that we were criminals, locked in prison, with a death sentence. I imagined it pretty well, if I do say so myself. I could have done better of course, but I could actually see a very vivid visual. Maybe it was just a hallucination - I have been up for more than 24 hours, loaded with sugar and caffeine, while still slightly sick... but I digress. The imagining continued. We were to imagine that the guard entered the cell block and we were told that we were to think that he was coming to take us to our death. Since I've watched Bad Girls, though, I always think of the prison system in that, and they don't have a death penalty. (They have life in prison instead.) So, imagining being sentenced to death proved a bit difficult for me, especially in such a bright room, looking at such a pretty girl, and still sweating from the games we had just played. (I sweat like a man, I swear.) Regardless, I made do. Well, when the guard reached us, we were told that another man had died for us and we were free to go. I nearly laughed out loud at that. At least, I think I would have, if I weren't in zombie mode. That image is so unrealistic! No law enforcement in their right minds would let an innocent man (or woman) die for a criminal! The image died for me there. Then, there was some speaking about how Christians should live their lives for Jesus. Doesn't sound so bad when you say it like that, but "Whoever saves his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life in my name shall gain it" doesn't sound as fun, does it? It was then that I realised that Christianity is little more than an overly accepted cult. I'm sorry if that offends anyone (not really) but that's just how it seems to me. I mean, their view of other religions is "All non-Christians worship Satan." Which is such a fucking blatant lie, because how can someone worship something they don't even believe in?! So fucking stupid... I apologise for my language, I've spent the past 24+ hours, more or less, playing GTA IV. Fun game, but horrid language, and I'm still getting it out of my system. The Bible also says that the greatest thing that could happen to a person is to die in the name of Jesus, or something along those lines. If anyone else said that as part of their religion, they'd be called a cult! Why is Christianity treated so differently? -sigh- I don't even know what the point of this was; I guess I just wanted to rant... Sorry for wasting your time, if you actually sat there and read this entire piece of shit.

In other news, I LOVE FARYL SMITH! I saw her on Ellen today, and I think she has such an amzing voice for someone so young! She's also very beautiful, but I feel a bit weird thinking that about a 13 year old... I so want her CD... Ellen has become my new favourite show, GTA IV is really addictive, Assassin's Creed is an AMAZING game that I am head over fucking heels for, Mtn Dew Game Fuel is pretty damn tasty, and walking with a quarter between your legs is fucking insanely difficult! Oh, and the Willy Wonka chocolate-covered pop rocks are SOOOOOO AWESOME!
